BX remains in a Stage 2 advancing uptrend bolstered by a recent Momentum Breakout, yet price is extended above rising EMAs and in extreme overbought territory, making immediate entries premature. We will stalk for pullbacks into the rising 9/21 EMA confluence or the prior breakout zone (~122.5–124.6) to align with the Growth at Reasonable Price strategy.

Bull points

  • So we view this as an exciting opportunity for CoreBridge with their merger with Equitable. Our hope here is as the joint balance sheet expands that we can do similar things for equitable. More importantly, we've delivered very strong performance for CoreBridge and its balance sheet. On average, across our insurance clients, we have delivered 180 basis point premium relative to comparably rated investment grade credits.
  • I do believe that when these shakeouts happened, we saw this in the real estate area. I think the number of competitors has diminished significantly. And I think it positions B-REIT very well as real estate starts to get an upcycle pickup.

Bear points
